Ordering
How do I place an order?
Browse the catalog, add the products you want to your cart, then head to Checkout. Fill in your details and choose a delivery method. When you place the order, we generate your order number and send you to WhatsApp to confirm and arrange payment. You'll also get a confirmation email.
Do I need an account to order?
No — you can check out as a guest. But creating a free account lets you track your orders, save your delivery details for faster checkout, and earn loyalty points on every order.
Can I change or cancel my order?
If your order hasn't shipped yet, message us on WhatsApp as soon as possible and we'll do our best to amend or cancel it.
Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, USDT and others) and Cash Send from any South African bank. Exact payment details are confirmed with you on WhatsApp once your order is placed.
When do I pay?
After you place your order you'll be directed to WhatsApp, where we confirm your items and share payment details. Your order is dispatched once payment is received.
How do I buy cryptocurrency in South Africa?
It's quick: sign up on a South African exchange such as Luno or VALR, verify your ID (FICA), and deposit Rand by instant EFT or card. Buy Bitcoin or USDT, then send it to the wallet address we share on WhatsApp when you order. Not sure how? Message us and we'll walk you through it.
Is there a limit on Cash Send payments?
Cash Send limits are per day and depend on your bank:

How long until my order ships?
Orders are processed Monday to Friday and we aim to dispatch within 1 business day of payment confirmation. You'll receive an email with a tracking number once your order is on its way.
How do I track my order?
We email you a tracking number when your order ships. If you have an account, your order status (pending, confirmed, processing, shipped, delivered) and tracking number are always visible under My Account → Orders.
What is your returns policy?
Because our products are sterile, temperature-sensitive research compounds, we do not accept returns. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us on WhatsApp within 24 hours with photos and we'll make it right. Full details are on our Shipping & Returns page.
Accounts & Loyalty Points
How do loyalty points work?
When you're logged in, you earn 5 points for every R10 you spend (the order subtotal). Points are added to your balance automatically once your order is marked delivered. You can see your balance any time on your account overview.
How do I redeem my points?
10 points = R1. At checkout, while logged in, you'll see a "Loyalty points" box showing your available balance. Tap Apply to use your points as a discount on that order. If an order you redeemed against is cancelled, the points are returned to your balance.
Do you have promo codes or discounts?
Yes. Join our newsletter to get 10% off your first order, and watch our WhatsApp and Instagram for promo codes. Enter any code in the promo field at checkout. One promo code per order — but you can combine a promo code with your loyalty points.
A product is out of stock — can I be notified?
Yes — on any out-of-stock product page, enter your email to be notified the moment it's back in stock. We'll email you automatically and only once.

What do you sell?
We supply high-purity research peptides and related laboratory supplies for South African researchers. Each product page lists the size and purity. All items are intended strictly for in-vitro laboratory research.
Are these products for human use?
No. All products are sold for laboratory and research use only. They are not for human or veterinary use, consumption, or therapeutic application. By ordering, you confirm you are using them for legitimate research purposes.
Are your products approved by SAHPRA?
No. None of the products sold on Helix Research have been evaluated, registered, or approved by the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA). They are supplied strictly as reference compounds for laboratory and research use only — not as medicines, and not for human or veterinary use, consumption, or therapeutic application.
